What to Expect in 2023 and Beyond?
The pandemic that started in 2020 has changed many things. Among these changes is the dwindling supply of teachers and assistants for Child Care. This gives you an awesome opportunity to shine and progress more rapidly up the ranks!
So, here’s the story! If you are a teacher, and are showing up to work regularly and consistently, and doing a good job, you will very likely be able to not only request higher than average wages, but will most likely be able to move up to Assistant Director. Here, if you do the same great job you were doing before, then you would move rapidly to becoming a Director. Given that there is a shortage of teachers/assistants, Assistant Directors and Directors, the probability of your getting promoted rapidly are very high – of course you have to be doing a good job (that is always a requirement no matter what you do!).
